Application Instructions
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please check which material your namest is: HTV or DTF
HTV - has a white paper backing that needs removing before applying
DTF - has no paper backing
PLEASE NOTE: Any defect with an item must be reported to use prior to application
We STRONGLY recommend that all shirt prints are applied by heat press (this service is available from most t-shirt printing stores).
Nameblocks are supplied in a straighT line.
If you have received a straight nameblock but want it curved you can DIY the curve by drawing around the edge of a round plate to use as a template or purchase a re-usable namest template.
A household iron will not apply the nameset correctly and will cause damage to the nameset and/or shirt. This is because an iron does not keep a constant temperature or constant, even pressure.
If you have any questions about application please email prior to application for clarification.
We DO NOT accept any responsibility for damage that may arise during application.
If problems arise during application we will need to report this to the manufacturer of the materials - we will need, date, time and place of application, make and model of heat press used.
We will require this information to be able to submit the report to the manufacturer.
Damage to nameset during application
We are not liable for any damage arising during application.
Application MUST be done using a professional heat-press used by someone who is trained to use said heat-press. The heat-press must be fully maintained and calibrated.
The materials and inks we use are specifically manufactured for use on sports shirts.
The manufacturer provide specific instructions for how to apply and these are provided on our website. These are the ONLY instructions that should be followed.
Applying a nameset/ patch/ sponsor etc indicates that you are happy with the quality of your item. If you are not happy please do not apply to a shirt.
If damage is caused during application we can raise this issue with the manufacturer of the materials and to do so we will need the following information:
a) name of company and person who applied
b) training certificate of person who applied
c) details of heat-press used
d) details of maintenance record and calibration tests of heat-press used.
e) date application took place
We will then forward this information onto the manufacturers for them to log onto their systems.
